an unforgettable concert experience on Münsterplatz
Last weekend, the 3500 spectators on Münsterplatz experienced a musical spectacle of the extra class. The Viennese symphonists presented the "Danube Symphony" by Frank Wildhorn, accompanied by an impressive orchestra under the direction of the Ulm Impressarios Walter Feucht.The concert started with powerful string sounds that musically traced the bubbling spring water of the Danube. A highlight was the interaction of the strings with the woodwinds, which perfectly reflected the gentle movement of the river.
The second sentence of the symphony caught the cultural and historical Highlights along the Danube and showed the virtuosity of the musicians. An outstanding oboensolo, accompanied by subtle strings, took the audience into the rich cultural tradition of the region.
The Viennese symphonists shone especially in the third set, in which they musically represented the natural beauty and the untouched landscapes along the Danube. The delicate timbres of nature were combined into an enchanting sound landscape by harp and flute sounds.

At the end of the two -hour concert, the orchestra, composer Frank Wildhorn and the Impressario Walter wet with standing ovation was celebrated. Special thanks also went to the sound technicians who, despite the open-air atmosphere, generated a full and warm sound that fulfilled the entire place.
The concert on Münsterplatz marked the start of the Ulm music summer and will certainly be remembered for a long time. The Viennese symphonists again demonstrated their world class and Frank Wildhorn's “Danube Symphony” was an unforgettable highlight of this evening.
