Emergency landing on rapsacker: aircraft with a pilot and three passengers unharmed
emergency landing of a small aircraft
On Saturday evening, the residents of Eislingen experienced an unexpected bold action when a small plane had to carry out an emergency landing on a rapeseed rapeseed between Eislingen and Kummwälden. The pilot of the Cessna172 was in the air with three passengers aged 33, 14 and 8 years when the engine of the aircraft suddenly failed and a quick landing was necessary. Fortunately, the pilot succeeded in securing the aircraft safely on the field, with none of the occupants suffering from injuries.
After a first examination, it turned out that the plane had no damage, and agricultural damage is expected to be compensated for between the farmer and the insurance of the aircraft. The residents of Eislingen were relieved that the emergency landing was without incident and nobody was harmed.
The Ulm police were informed about the incident and confirmed that everyone involved remained intact. You are available for further questions on the phone number 0731 188-0 or by email at ulm.pp@polizei.bwl.de.
The rapid reaction of the pilot and the successful emergency landing show the importance of professional flight safety and crisis management in unforeseen situations. Such an event underlines the importance of always being prepared for emergencies and acting appropriately in order to minimize potential risks.
