New departure in Waldshut-Tiengen: Common future prospects at the SPD
The citizens of Waldshut-Tiengen can look at a promising future, because at the SPD's general meeting in the “Rheinische Hof”, Mayor Martin Gruner and 20 committed SPD members met to talk about current and upcoming projects.
Gruner gave a comprehensive overview of the multitude of challenges and opportunities that the double town faces. He particularly emphasized the lack of staff as one of the greatest challenges that the city administration faces. But with optimism and zest for action, solutions are already being searched to continue successfully.
One of the most exciting projects about which Gruner spoke is the Klettgau-Carré in Tiengen. There are concrete steps in autumn, which are intended to further promote the economic and cultural development of the city. The former Matthias Claudius House in Waldshut could soon find a new destination, which shows that empty buildings also recover potential for urban development.
The strong neighborhood also plays a special role in Switzerland, which ensures economic impulses and cultural exchange. Gruner emphasized the importance of this partnership and how it has a positive impact on the growth of Waldshut-Tiengen.
The chairwoman of the SPD Waldshut, Claudia Hecht, also focused on the results of the local elections and the current political mood. Despite the challenges, the SPD Waldshut is financially solid and with long-standing members, such as Uwe Schmidt and Günter Lindemann, who were honored for their 50-year membership.
The cooperation between citizens, administration and politics shows that Waldshut-Tiengen is ready for a new departure and common success in the future.
