Animal accident on the country road: Fresh of cars recorded - police investigated in Weimar

Wild accident on the country road: a freshcomer run over

An unfortunate incident occurred late in the evening of July 4th, 2024 on a country road near Weimar. The driver of a car Skoda was on the way from Niedergrunstedt to Weimar when a young wild boar suddenly crossed the street. Despite an immediate braking, the collision could not be prevented.

The freshlings died on site while material damage was caused by the Skoda. The sad encounter between the animal and the vehicle illustrates the dangers of wild animals on streets and calls for caution in dealing with the wildlife.
