Uni Weimar honors Buchenwald-victim: lecture hall named after Maurice Halbwachs

Weimar, Deutschland - The Bauhaus University Weimar honors the French sociologist and philosopher Maurice Halbwachs, which was deported to Buchenwald in 1944 and died there by naming its largest lecture hall after him. The university announced that the maximum auditorium will in future be known as a "bricklayer half-wax auditorium".

half wax was a formative scientist and contributed significantly to the Franco-German exchange. Despite his significant contribution, there was no memory in Weimar to commemorate his memory. Now this grievance is remedied to appreciate half wax ’inheritance, reports www.stern.de .
