Stadthalle in Hachenburg: New construction or conversion remains uncertain!
In the city council meeting of Hachenburg on October 10, the future of the new town hall at the site of the former sports club was supposed to be discussed. But Mayor Stefan Leukel decided at short notice to delete this point from the agenda. The reason: There are still unexplained questions about financing the project after presenting an economic report in the last meeting. Due to the need for advice, no final decision can be made for a new building or conversion.
Despite the removal of the city hall topic, the session remains exciting, with other important agenda items such as the redesign of the castle garden and the establishment of an electrical supply location in cooperation with the Hachenburg community. Spectators are cordially invited for the consultations at 7 p.m. in the town hall on Leipziger Strasse. For more information, see the current reporting on www.rhein-zeitung.de .
