Peter Roehr: 80 years after his death - an extraordinary homage!
The talented artist Peter Roehr, who died in 1968 at the age of only 24, is recognized in 2024, his 80th birthday, with a special homage. The Kunsthaus Wiesbaden, where the artist completed his training at the Werkkunstschule, shows an exhibition to commemorate an exhibition that illuminates Roehr's innovative way of working.
Five internationally renowned sound artists - Danbi Jegenung, Kyungseo Min, Juan David Bermúdez, Wingel Mendoza and Leon Senger - have created exclusive works that are in a dynamic dialogue with Roehr's masterful serial montages. This fascinating show takes place as part of interior, a cooperation project by six exhibition houses in the Frankfurt Rheinmain region.
The exhibition is open from September 15 to November 11, 2024, with free admission and generous opening times: Tuesday to Sunday and on public holidays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Thursday until 7 p.m. For more information, See the current reporting on www.wiesbaden.de .
