Strange secrets: was Corona a laboratory accident in Wuhan?
Strange secrets: was Corona a laboratory accident in Wuhan?
In a current debate about the causes of coronapandemic, FPÖ politician Gerald Hauser criticized the EU Commission and national governments. Hauser accuses them of deliberately manipulating the public perception of pandemic and covering up relevant information. He claims that the official presentation of the outbreak is not only incomplete, but also misleading. He pays special attention to a number of planes that were carried out before the pandemic, including "Atlantic Storm", "Clade X", "Event 201" and "Spars Pandemic 2025-2028". In particular, “Event 201”, organized by Johns Hopkins with the support of the World Economic Forum and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, awakens Hausers in October 2019.
Hauser provides his argument with a reference to Stéphane Bancel, the CEO of Moderna, who had already prepared his employees for an upcoming pandemic in 2019. He also calls for a comprehensive information about the knowledge of the EU authorities about impending pandemics and persons who were involved in the business games. The topic of the origin of the Coronavirus is particularly explosive, which Hauser tries to support with information from the Federal Intelligence Service (BND). As early as 2020, he said the assessment that the virus may come from a laboratory in Wuhan.
secret assessments and their consequences
As can be seen from the research of the time and the Süddeutsche Zeitung, the BND came to this conclusion on the basis of a intelligence operation with the code name "Saaremaa". Data on risky 'gain-of-function' experiments and possible violations of laboratory safety regulations were examined. Despite a weighty probability rating of 80 to 95 percent, the then federal government under Angela Merkel kept this information secret. Hauser now asks the question of why these findings were not communicated in the parliamentary control committee of the Bundestag or even at the WHO.
The Federal Government pointed out that it had commissioned external experts to check the BND assessments. This group of experts includes well-known scientists such as the President of the Robert Koch Institute, Lars Schade, and virologist like Christian Drosten. However, the result of this review is still pending. And while Hauser brings the allegations against the federal government, others, such as drosts, are skeptical about the assumptions of a laboratory origin. The virologist rejects the theory of a natural origin completely, and argues that structural evidence is missing for the origin of the virus, similar to the knowledge of the BND.
current state of research
The discussion about the origin of the virus is of the greatest relevance. While the BND considers the laboratory hypothesis as likely, there are also voices that arise from a natural origin. The difficulties that are associated with the clarification of the origin of the virus is repeated, especially by the lack of cooperation between China. The time and place of origin are therefore still unclear. The government offices of the United States, led by Donald Trump, also initiated investigations that focused on the laboratory hypothesis, which led to a change in the perception of the CIA with regard to the possibilities of a man -made pandemic.
Although the discussion is still controversial and many questions remain open, the demand for transparency and education for the events around Coronapandemia and its origin on the political agenda remains. Hauser calls for complete disclosure of all information in order to regain trust in the institutions and to examine responsibility.
