Innovative app for overcoming educational barriers in Kyrgyzstan with IHK price excellent

outstanding achievements in mobile education research at the Worms University of Applied Sciences

On Wednesday, June 19, 2024, outstanding theses in the field of mobile education research were awarded at the Worms University of Applied Sciences. The Chamber of Commerce and Industry for Rheinhessen awarded the 2023 IHK Prize to four promising young scientists who convinced with their innovative projects and theses.

The award winners were Tolgonai Muratbekova, a Bachelor student of business informatics, who was honored for her pioneering bachelor thesis. Muratbekova developed a mobile application that makes it easier for Kyrgyz individuals to learn the German language without knowledge of Russian. This app represents a revolutionary solution to overcome educational hurdles and cultural barriers.

The focus of Muratbekova's work was to address the educational needs of people in Kyrgyzstan, where Russian is hardly widespread. By using the Kyrgyz language and interactive exercises, the app creates easy access to the German language and enables users to improve their educational opportunities.

The innovative application developed with Google's flutter framework includes various course levels and interactive user functions. Continuous user surveys and detailed development phases ensure that the app offers user -friendly and effective learning experience. Future updates should expand the application with further innovative features and exercises in order to continuously improve learning experience.

The work of Tolgonai Muratbekova not only contributes to technological innovation, but also has a high level of social relevance. It promotes the cultural exchange between the Kyrgyz and German population and thus creates a bridge between the two cultures. Prof. Dr. Bernd Ruhland, the thesis supervisor, praises the app as an instrument of social responsibility that will influence the education sector in Kyrgyzstan in the long term.

The award ceremony took place in front of representatives from science, companies as well as family and friends of the award winners in the Rheinhessensaal of the IHK. IHK President Dr. Marcus Walden emphasized the importance of appreciating and visible outstanding achievements in science in order to promote the academic offspring and to promote knowledge transfer between universities and companies.
