Kirchenrave in Ichenheim: Celebrate for a good cause!

In the Ichenheim church, the second "Kirchenrave" celebrated vigorously on Saturday evening! After the great success of the first event in April, many dance enthusiasts flocked to the church this time to celebrate life for bass and beats. Pastor Anna Schimmel was enthusiastic and explained why such parties are not inaugurated in this place: "Churches are special places that were built to experience community and God."

The event offered a special experience for all guests, both for the younger party goers from the age of 13 and for the "Ü 18" visitors who stormed the dance floor from 10 p.m. Instead of an admission price, donations for the Lahrer Tafel were asked - a concept that resulted in eight moving boxes full of food last year and was to be exceeded this time. DJ Samuel Fischer made sure that the atmosphere was right by laying it up directly in front of the altar, while bright colors shone in the black light. It was an evening full of energy and community that showed that celebrations in the church can be respectful and enriching.
