Emergency taking in the Zollernalbkreis: Where you should go there in an emergency!

In the Zollernalbkreis, the emergency care remains secured: The two emergency rooms in Albstadt and Balingen are still available. The emergency room of Albstadt mainly treats cardiovascular, circulatory and breathing emergency cases as well as strokes, while in Balingen all accident victims and medical emergencies of the gastrointestinal tract, including gynecological emergencies, are supplied.

The emergency rooms are open around the clock, but it is pointed out at long waiting times. The urgency of the treatments is determined by an initial assessment - the so -called triage - whereby the order is not determined on arrival, but according to urgency. In cases where outpatient help is sufficient, patients should use the services of their home or specialists. Emergencies in children are treated in the Clinic for Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine in Balingen, and accident children are in the central emergency room.
