Festive inauguration of the renovated Jewish organ in the Lutherkirche!

On Sunday, the freshly renovated Yame organ in the Glauchau Lutherkirche is ceremoniously inaugurated. The festival concert begins at 5 p.m., presented by the renowned organist of the Dresden Kreuzkirche, Holger Gehring. Visitors have the opportunity to follow the concert on a large video screen.

The organ, which was extensively restored between 1909 and 2023, required comprehensive renovation, in which more than 1,200 pipes had to be expanded, thoroughly cleaned and reinstalled. The cost of this impressive measure amounted to a proud 100,000 euros, financed by funding and generous donations.
