Heat in Oberschöneweide: Take part in our survey!
In the coming weeks, the survey "Healthy through the summer" will be carried out in the districts of "Greek Park" in Oberschöneweide and "Allende I" in the Allende district. These areas were selected due to the significant heat load. The survey starts at the beginning of October and is aimed at all residents aged 16 and over as well as people who are familiar with these districts for professional or leisure reasons. The goal is to understand how people experience the summer heat and what needs they have in this context.
The survey focuses on exploring the perception of summer heat. The different aspects such as the perceived heat, the heat load and the required information in the areas of social support and adjustments in public space are analyzed. The data obtained can help to develop concrete protective measures against summer heat that meet the needs of people on site.
participation in the survey
can participate all residents who are from 16 years old. You will be contacted by post with information on the survey. Particularly for the older citizens from the age of 65, special care is set up: in addition to an online link for digital participation, you will receive a handwritten questionnaire that is already franked. Interested parties can also fill out the survey in the "open meetings" of the Märkische Social and Bildungswerk e.V. in Oberschöneweide (Wilhelminenhofstraße 34, 12459 Berlin) or in the Kiezklub Allende (Salvador-Allende-Straße 89, 12559 Berlin). People who do not live directly in these areas also have the opportunity to take part in the survey in the institutions mentioned or via the links provided.
The survey itself will take about 15 minutes and participation is anonymous and voluntary. The results of the survey are then evaluated and events and workshops are planned that will take place in a period of six to twelve months after the survey. These events are intended to further deepen the topic of the summer heat and are already available online for registration. Interested parties can find more information at this link .
