In the 2021/2022 season, the team from Kreisliga B rose. This outstanding performance was rewarded with a second place and an impressive record of 24 games, 95:28 goals and 59 points within the league. Martin Fester, the top striker of the season, ended them with 26 goals scored, which crowned the best goal scorer in the entire league.

The defense of the promotion was decided as part of a relegation against Kehler FV II in June 2022. After a clear first leg victory in Kehl (1: 3), the second leg in Biberach followed, which ended in front of around 600 spectators. There was a goalless draw here, and the fans celebrated the climb, which not only had sporty but also emotional value for the community.

The great achievements of last season, in particular the achievement of third place in the Kreisliga A Süd, brought the municipality of Enger together. In the final game of this season, the team showed a mixture of initial hesitation and later dominance. Against the SG Dörlinbach-Schweighausen they had difficulties in the first half, while in the second half they appeared as the superior team and celebrated victory 3-1.
