on Sunday evening, September 1, 2024, there was a traffic accident in Telgte at 7.10 p.m. in which a motorcyclist was slightly injured. The incident occurred on Alverskirchener Straße and, according to the investigation, was due to a misunderstanding between the road users.

A 48-year-old driver from Telgte was traveling out of town with his car towards the city. The motorcyclist, a 60-year-old from Alverskirchen, was behind the car and wanted to overtake it. At an unfortunate moment, the driver suddenly slows down his speed to turn his car 180 degrees. This led to a collision between the two vehicles that did not react in time.
