Tragic motorcycle accident in Witzenhausen: driver dies of Crash
On Saturday, May 17th, 2025, a tragic traffic accident occurred on the country road L3464, east of Witzenhausen-Wendershausen. At around 9:45 a.m., a motorcyclist was fatally injured, which resulted in an extensive use of emergency services. Among the helpers were the city fire inspector as well as the fire brigades from Wendershausen and Werleshausen, supplemented by rescue workers from the Werra-Meißner district and a rescue helicopter.
In the course of the investigation, the public prosecutor ordered the victim to ensure that the victim has an accident. The exact circumstances of the accident are currently still unclear and the subject of further investigations.| Details | |
