The Aalen Spring Festival is just around the corner and transforms the fairground in Greut into a center of happy celebrations from April 30 to May 5. This year the festival is organized for the first time by the Aalener family of showmen in Kübler, who wants to bring fresh swing to the traditional event. This was also emphasized by Mayor Bernd Schwarzendorfer at the presentation of the program, which this year includes some changes to offer visitors even more varied experiences.

The parade that begins on April 30 at 6 p.m. is accompanied musically by the SHW mountain chapel and leads from the Bohlschulplatz to the fairground. The official opening takes place at 7 p.m. with a barrel beer tapping by Mayor Frederick Brütting, with beer from the Wasseralfinger Löwenbrauerei. A new, innovative brilliant fireworks will initiate the festival and ensure a spectacular start.

The music program is colorful and includes appearances by the hit legend Bata Illic as well as the bands Frankenbelgel and "D´ere". A free church service will take place on May 4th, followed by a morning pint with the city orchestra. A special highlight for younger visitors is the puppet theater and the family day, also on May 4th.

Culinary awaits visitors a wide selection of traditional folk festival dishes such as Langos, Crêpes and suckling pig. There is also a tent with around 500 covered seats and a beer garden in which the guests can enjoy the atmosphere.
