This measure covers a distance of 2.3 kilometers and has already caused a great stir. Further renovation work
But that's not all: In parallel to the work in Ehingen, extensive renovation work is also underway on the B292 between Dühren and Daisbach, which started on March 24, 2025. Here too, the poor condition of the road has led to the need for comprehensive measures. The renovation stretches over four kilometers and is divided into several construction phases. In the first stages, preparations will be made and several sections of road will be restored to ensure safe driving. The construction work is ultimately scheduled to be completed by mid-June 2025, with the total cost being around 3.5 million euros, financed by the federal government Sinsheim-Lokal reports that ....
In view of these extensive construction measures, it is clear that the transport infrastructure in Germany requires constant investment and maintenance. Despite challenges, such as increased costs and an increased number of bankruptcies in the sector, road construction remains an important economic area. With over 80,000 employees and a large number of trainees, road construction remains a popular choice in the civil engineering career field.
The construction work is necessary to ensure the safety of all road users. If you want to travel around Ehingen and beyond in the coming weeks, you should definitely allow enough time for detours and find out about the current conditions.
