After two recent wins against HSG Bensheim/Auerbach and Sport-Union Neckarsulm, the Blomberg women are traveling with a lot of self-confidence. They are currently leaders and last season they won both the away game in Göppingen and won their home game with a clear 34:22 in front of over a thousand spectators. The Steinheim News reported that the HSG used a longer break to regenerate, which is important for the players as there are still challenging games ahead.
The opponents from Göppingen suffered a narrow defeat 28:29 against Sport-Union Neckarsulm in their last game after they were already behind 10:19 at halftime.
