Remember to let the cleaning water seep into the lawn. Hot broth, i.e. water with at least 60 to 70 degrees Celsius, ensures that all eggs and larvae are killed. After cleaning, it is advisable to store the containers in a dry and cool place in the cellar or shed, if possible.
A small note for all hobby gardeners: A measure with BTI tablets is currently not effective. The tablets make little sense from mid-October to mid-April because tiger mosquito larvae do not develop during this time.
