Advent is not far away: From now on, committed Cologne residents can do good again with the Lions Advent calendar and win great prizes at the same time. Sales start on October 18, 2025 and end on November 25. A calendar is sold for just five euros and offers the chance to win around 600 prizes with a total value of over EUR 23,000. That reports South Courier.
In the tradition of doing good for the community, the Lions Advent Calendar was first presented in 2002 and has since become a popular attraction. In the first year, 2,300 copies were sold, but in recent years sales figures have consistently been above 7,000 copies. The numerous sales outlets in Konstanz and the surrounding area offer a good opportunity to make the Advent season a little more exciting.
Profits and benefits
What's behind the doors of the calendar? A total of 600 prizes are waiting to be discovered. The prizes include, among other things, a convertible weekend with a Mercedes-Benz, a truffle hunt with a menu, and various high-quality vouchers. The list of sponsors is impressive: over 130 companies from Konstanz and the surrounding area support this non-profit project. Each calendar has an individual number that serves as a ticket. The drawing will take place from December 1st and the winning numbers will be published dailySOUTH COURIER, weekly in the Konstanzer Anzeiger and online at lionskn-adventskalender.de announced.
The proceeds from the sale of the calendar go to various social projects. Among other things, the Mainau charity concerts, old people's and nursing homes, and the Rainbow School are supported.
