Spätlingsmarkt in Ludwigsburg: enjoyment and variety over four days!
On November 4, 2025, District Administrator Dietmar Allgaier opened the 28th Spätlingsmarkt in Ludwigsburg, which will transform the district hall into a culinary marketplace. A true feast for the senses awaits visitors, as the market lasts four days and offers not only freshly baked bread and spices, but also a wide range of regional delicacies and handicrafts.
A special highlight this year is that 15 new stand operators are represented at the market with their handmade goods and Swabian classics. The event combines regionality and international influences, which creates a colorful mix and makes the visit interesting for everyone. This way you can taste the best of the region and at the same time immerse yourself in the cultures of other countries.
A colorful supporting program
But the Spätlingsmarkt is more than just a place to feast. The accompanying program offers exciting topics relating to climate, nature and environmental protection as well as child-friendly offers. The whole thing is rounded off with wine tastings and evening events, which invite you to end the day on an enjoyable note. To mark the market, the opening hours on Thursday were even extended to appeal to younger visitors - a real hit for the younger generation.
In order to cope with the rush and to give all visitors easy access to the market, the district recommends using public transport. For those who come by bike, there are even additional parking spaces on Eugenstrasse. In addition, rickshaws will shuttle between the central bus station and the event location on three days, providing additional mobility and ensuring that everyone can reach the market without any problems.
Regionality and sustainability in focus
The commitment to regionality and sustainability can also be found in the offering My regional market. The philosophy is based on three principles: regionality, sustainability and fairness. The goal is clear: the sale and consumption of regional products should be promoted, while high standards regarding animal welfare and environmental protection are maintained. This is intended to create an alternative to global mass production that also protects the planet.
Visitors to the Spätlingsmarkt are not only offered a treat for the palate, but also the opportunity to become part of a positive, sustainable movement. Information about the stand operators and the entire accompanying program is available on the district's website, which is a perfect planning aid for all market visitors.
