Free course: Solar energy for Aindling – Register now and benefit!
The energy transition is on everyone's lips, and a further step towards climate neutrality is now being taken in the Aichach-Friedberger district. On Tuesday, October 7th, 2025, a free course on the subject of photovoltaic systems will take place in the vhs room of the Aindling middle school from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. This event is organized by Aichach-Friedberg District Office in collaboration with the vhs Aichach-Friedberg. The course is aimed at anyone who wants to get involved with solar systems for the first time.
As part of the lecture entitled “First steps to your photovoltaic system”, participants will learn everything important about using the solar roof register to assess the PV potential. Practical examples of how to configure photovoltaic systems are also presented, and there are valuable tips on buying and offering PV systems. Registration is required via the vhs website (course number: E25104-01).
Wittelsbacher Land solar offensive
This course is part of the Wittelsbacher Land solar offensive, a project that wants to actively promote the climate and energy transition in the district. The aim is to promote the accelerated expansion of photovoltaic systems and thus make an important contribution to saving CO2. As part of the offensive, various target groups such as companies, social institutions and homeowners' associations are specifically addressed in order to strengthen environmental awareness and demonstrate the practical feasibility of PV projects.
“Shaping the energy transition together” is the motto that outlines the basic idea of the solar offensive. Analyzes, consultations and educational measures are intended to raise citizens' awareness of the topic of solar energy. The importance of new user groups that should be included in the energy transition is also highlighted.
Climate neutrality by 2045
The comprehensive transformation of the energy system is not only important in the district. Diligent work is also being done at the national level to clarify the transformation paths to Germany's climate neutrality by 2045. A study of Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy Systems ISE highlights the different scenarios that take social and geopolitical developments into account.
The results of this study are also important for local initiatives, as they show how important the transformation of the various sectors - from the energy industry to transport - is for the success of the energy transition. The exchange of electricity and hydrogen within Germany also plays a central role. This makes it clear that every step towards renewable energies, such as the solar offensive in Wittelsbacher Land, is part of the bigger picture.
Whether you are a company, a social institution or simply an interested citizen - everyone can and should make their contribution to the energy transition. The upcoming course in Aindling could be the first step towards a more environmentally friendly future. Take the chance!
