Three burglaries in Aschaffenburg: Police are looking for perpetrators!

In the last few days, a wave of burglaries in the Aschaffenburg district has been making headlines and giving the police a lot to do. On Friday, October 31st, three break-ins were reported in the area within a short period of time. The Lower Franconia police department is investigating intensively and is currently looking for the unknown perpetrators. It is still unclear whether there is a connection between the incidents. In Goldbach, the burglars gained forced access to a building by breaking open a skylight. Here they were able to steal jewelry and cash worth mid-six figures. The crime occurred between 5 p.m. and 7:45 p.m. The amount of damage left a lot of money in the pockets of the perpetrators.

Another break-in took place in Amorbach, where the unknown persons entered the house via a patio door between 4:15 p.m. and 7:10 p.m. This time, however, the intruders had no luck and didn't steal anything, but instead fled undetected into the searched room. A third burglary occurred in Heimbuchenthal, in which perpetrators broke into several floors between Thursday, October 30th, at 8:30 a.m. and Friday, October 31st, at 11:45 a.m., but without stealing anything. The Aschaffenburg criminal police are investigating and are calling on witnesses to report information on 06021/857 1733.

Additional incidents in Aschaffenburg

But the break-ins are not the only worrying issue. On Wednesday, November 3rd, an apartment in Aschaffenburg/Schweinheim was broken into. Between 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m., a perpetrator forcibly gained access through a window. A mid-three-digit amount of cash and a small amount of medical cannabis were stolen. The Aschaffenburg criminal police are also investigating here and are looking for witnesses who made suspicious observations on Haidbergstrasse.

A 36-year-old was caught with a fake Italian driving license during a traffic stop on the A3. The check took place at around 6:55 p.m. at the Strietwald Nord parking lot. The driver was taken to the police station and was released after the measures were completed, while the fake driver's license was confiscated.

Another incident was reported in Mömbris, where a black Mitsubishi Outlander was scratched between 2pm and 6pm on Tuesday. The property damage amounts to a low four-digit amount. Information about this can be given to the Alzenau police station on Tel. 06023/944-0.

The police are faced with the challenge of combating this wave of burglaries and other criminal activities and are therefore seeking the public's help. Any information could be important in holding the perpetrators accountable and restoring security in the region. In these uncertain times, it is even more important to be vigilant and report suspicious observations immediately in order to catch the perpetrators and protect the neighborhood.
