November is just around the corner and the City of Bayreuth has put together a packed program to provide variety and joy in the dark season. Under the motto “Together against the November blues”, all residents can look forward to exciting events.
The campaign starts on November 3rdFresh Food Day, where participants shop together and prepare delicious food. A variety of activities are planned, such as chopping onions, topping pizza and baking crepes - this will certainly satisfy your hunger. And on November 5th the time has finally come: oneGirls Dayin KOMM, exclusively for girls, is held. Here the boys are allowed to stay outside so that the girls can get to know what's going on in peace!
The highlight for the young athletes
The event on November 5th starts at 10:00 a.m. with a welcome and get-to-know-you games. Then we continue with introduction units from children's and youth coach training. Cross-sport activities, such as Zumba, are also part of the program. The day ends with a grand finale with group photos and souvenirs. Here participation is from DTTB supported, which provides lots of great extras, including photo rights and even video recordings.
Another highlight is coming up on November 21st: the table tennis tournament in the Bayreuth Municipal Youth Center. Young talents can compete here and win prizes. Even some of the participants who recently competed with great effort at the Mini Championships in Niedernhall could demonstrate their skills again here. Particularly noteworthy are the successes such as those of Arin Singroha and Franziska Celerino, who qualified for the national final and paved the way for their age groups. The TTBW looks forward to positive developments and continues to promote talent in table tennis.
Creative ideas and regular offers
On November 12th, the kids who love crafts can look forward to thisTie ribbonsbe happy. Hairbands, bracelets and key rings can be made here. And of course creative work is also possibleCOMESpace enough. The workshop opened on November 26th for countless creative works, and if the need for exercise and music arises, there is a street dance workshop every Tuesday from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m.
The team ensures that you have a good time at KOMM, although the regular opening hours are adjusted during the autumn holidays. During the holidays, visitors can visit the youth club Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Wednesday and Friday from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. New times will apply from November 10th.
Regardless of whether the visit is...COME, the sporting competitions or the creative offers – November in Bayreuth will be anything but dreary! Team spirit and community are very important here, and that not only brings joy to everyone, but also strengthens cohesion in the city.
