A day full of discoveries

The Berchtesgaden alpaca breeder Brigitte Strobl provides exciting insights into the keeping of these gentle creatures. Anyone interested can look forward to a demonstration in which hand spinner Bianca Löwenhagen explains how fine threads are created from alpaca wool - a true work of art!
A highlight is the boat tour on the crystal-clear Königssee, during which Sonja tests the impressive echo below the Watzmann. Such experiences make the region incomparable. After an eventful day, the presenter meets the toboggan world champions Georg “Schorsch” Hackl and Felix Loch in Schönau. These two exceptional athletes enthusiastically report on their passion for tobogganing.
Delicacies and tradition
After all these adventures, your physical well-being is also taken care of: In a traditional restaurant in Ramsau, innkeeper Toni Hillebrand treats his guests to a delicious chamois goulash. It is precisely these warm moments that make Berchtesgadener Land so special.
Last but not least, there is the climb to the Watzmann House, accompanied by hiking guide Eduard “Eddy” Balduin. In the evening sun, the day ends with musical performances by regional artists who bring their homeland to life with traditional music. The Hallgrafen musicians, Stoaberg singers and many others create an unforgettable atmosphere with their sounds.
