New life for young stars: Berchtesgaden coach at Austria Salzburg!
A lot has happened at Austria Salzburg in the last few weeks. The club has a clear focus on its youth work, which has been somewhat neglected in the past. Youth leader Juraj Javorovic is convinced of the importance of a solid basis for the professional club and approaches the work with fresh ideas. Loud bgland24 It was decided to fill the U17 coaching positions in order to bring a breath of fresh air into the team.
With Markus Huber and Francesco Parrillo, two experienced coaches from Berchtesgadener Land have been hired. Huber has a UEFA youth elite license and previously played for FC Bayern and TSV 1860 Munich. Parrillo, who already coached the U23 team at ESV Freilassing, complements the coaching team with his coach B license. Javorovic himself has taken over the U13 team and is doing everything he can to give the U17 players valuable match practice in the U18 league.
New start in the U17
The U17 team has struggled with significant problems in recent years. But the new coaches seem to be turning things around. The U17 currently consists of 21 field players and three goalkeepers, all born in 2009, with the option of using three players born in 2008. Javorovic emphasizes how important development and playing minutes are in supporting young players. With this philosophy, the aim is to quickly integrate the talent into the professional sector.
The club's current infrastructure is particularly explosive: there is only one artificial turf field for seven teams from U11 onwards. This limited capacity makes optimal training design necessary. In order to attract new talent in the future, the club is planning talent screenings on November 18th and 20th. This commitment shows that Javorovic and his team see youth work as closely linked to the club in order to create a positive atmosphere.
A look into the future
The overall goal of Austria Salzburg is to support the players up to U19 level so that they can be made fit for the professional level as quickly as possible. The approach of the coaches and the structure under Javorovic could be crucial. Because as you can see, youth work is not just a side issue, but the foundation of a successful club.
The challenges are great, but so are the ambitions. With the right concept and a good sense of talent, Austria Salzburg could soon be popular again.
