Ceremonial honor: 85 IHK graduates shine in Bad Neustadt!

An impressive honor recently took place in Bad Neustadt: The IHK Würzburg-Schweinfurt celebrated 85 outstanding graduates of the IHK final examinations for the winter season 2024/2025 and summer 2025. The celebratory event in the town hall was moderated by Johannes Keppner from Radio Gong and gave the graduates an unforgettable evening away from their usual everyday work routine. Among those honored are nine of Bavaria's best and even three of Germany's best graduates, who were particularly spotlighted on this special evening.

Georg Straub, chairman of the IHK Rhön-Grabfeld committee, emphasized in his speech the immense importance of dual training for the professional future of young people. This form of training combines practical experience in the company with theoretical knowledge at vocational schools, which means that trainees are optimally prepared for the job market. Jürgen Bode, deputy general manager of the IHK, emphasized that the IHK degree is not just a certificate, but is also an important career building block for graduates. He is particularly pleased that a total of 3,355 young people successfully passed the IHK exams this year.

Celebration mood and thanks

The event was further enhanced by the presence of prominent guests of honor such as Michael Werner, the first mayor of Bad Neustadt, and Bruno Altrichter, the deputy district administrator of Rhön-Grabfeld. A big thank you went to the trainers and vocational school teachers, whose commitment and support play a crucial role in the dual training. Around 2,300 volunteer examiners from companies and vocational schools regularly contribute to the implementation of the IHK examination committees and thereby show their valuable contribution to the promotion of young talent.

A central part of the training process is the operational order, also known as a report or documentation, which is created towards the end of the training period. This assignment is formulated by the trainers and should include practical tasks from the trainees' professional field of activity. The IHK examiners accept the order, which also puts the practical skills and in-depth knowledge of the graduates to the test, as [IHK Munich](https://www.ihk-muenchen.de/bildung-fortbildung/aus trainee/trainingspruefung/) explains.

The time after school

After successfully passing the exam, graduates have numerous career paths open to them. The degree not only serves as proof of learned skills, but also opens doors to further professional opportunities. The graduates honored here have already mastered the first step on their career ladder with flying colors and can now look forward to seeing where their path will take them. At a time when academic degrees are at a premium, these young talents are proving that practical qualifications and hands-on experience are just as important.

In conclusion, this event not only celebrated the students' achievements, but also put the spotlight on the importance of dual training. In a world that is constantly changing, practical training remains a certain guarantee of professional success. The IHK and its partners continue to stand by the young people to support them on their journey into professional life. Once again it shows that it is definitely worth investing your commitment in training the next generation.
