It's a celebration for young and old: Today, on August 14, 2025, the 435th edition of the Kronach Free Shooting was ceremoniously opened. At 7:20 p.m., Mayor Angela Hofmann (CSU) tapped the first beer in the Kaiserbräu Hall on the Hofwiese, which has already attracted numerous visitors. The traditional tapping consisted of three precise taps, accompanied by master brewer Thomas Kaiser, and the atmosphere in the hall is already great.

As befits such an event, there will of course also be delicious beer and numerous culinary highlights that will put the guests in a good mood. Many families and friends came to celebrate, eat and drink together, so that the tradition of free shooting remains alive.
