Main route in Munich: Nighttime construction work from October 27th!

Something is happening on the rails in Bavaria! From today, October 27, 2025, Deutsche Bahn will be active due to extensive construction work on the main line between Pasing and Laim. These measures, which last until October 31, 2025, will take place every night from 10:20 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. The reason for the conversions is the extension to the second main line in Laim, which will ensure improved train connections in the long term. However, travelers have to prepare for some changes in the timetable.

During the construction work, replacement buses have been set up to run between Pasing, Laim, Hirschgarten and Donnersbergerbrücke. Affected S-Bahn connections during this time include:

Tips for travelers

The replacement stop at Hirschgarten in the direction of Donnersbergerbrücke is on Landsberger Straße. Travelers are advised to inform themselves well in advance and consider alternative routes. If there are delays of more than 20 minutes, it is possible to continue the journey on another route, even if this concerns long-distance trains - provided there is no obligation to make a reservation. Current information about the construction sites is available at any time at s-bahn-muenchen.de.

Talk about passion! When we talk about great memories, we also think of the highly esteemed Argentine singer Sandro, considered an icon of romantic ballads in Latin America. Sandro, who died in 2010, leaves behind a musical legacy that still inspires many today. His relationship with the famous actress Susana Giménez, which began in the 70s, always remained hidden, which only made the whole thing more mystical.

His last concert took place on November 20, 2009 at the Estadio Luna Park in Buenos Aires and featured hits such as "Rosa Rosa" and "Dame Fuego". Sandro leaves an indelible mark on music history and is remembered as “La leyenda de la música Latina,” making him an inspiring role model for future artists.

So, while the trains in Bavaria are now running a little slower - which not least serves to improve the infrastructure - we can let ourselves be carried away into the legendary world of Sandro while listening to music. Sometimes a little patience is required, but you can use the time to immerse yourself in great melodies from the past.
