TSV Dachau 1865 shoots Kammerberg 5-0 – a football festival!
On Tuesday evening, August 14, 2025, football was once again in demand in the Dachau district when the first nine first round games of the 2025/26 Sparkasse Cup kicked off. And as befits a proper competition, things got down to business. The spectators were rewarded with a number of surprises and thrilling duels, with away teams proving particularly strong.
TSV Dachau 1865 performed confidently in the game against SpVgg Kammerberg and was able to shine with an impressive 5-0 win. The goals were scored by Berkant Barin, who opened the scoring in the 5th minute, and Lorenz Knöferl, who hit the mark three times (16th, 40th, 72nd minute). Barin went one better with his second goal in the 45th minute. A wild evening also had a positive outcome for SV Ampermoching: with a late goal from Jürgen Meier in stoppage time, they narrowly defeated SV Weichs 1-0, which amazed the spectators.
Exciting games and surprises
SC Vierkirchen experienced a bitter evening when they lost 0-2 to TSV Schwabhausen. Benedikt Sterflinger was in outstanding form and scored both goals in minutes 13 and 89. SpVgg Hebertshausen also suffered a defeat, they lost to TSV Arnbach 1:4. Markus Willibald, Lukas Schmitt (2) and Georg Sandmann were able to secure the points for Arnbach, while the consolation goal for Hebertshausen was scored by Kilian Hubert in the 89th minute.
As the football gods would have it, there was a dramatic turnaround in the encounter between SV Odelzhausen and SV Günding. Günding won with a goal in the 90th minute by Christian Roth, while SV Niederroth was able to prevail against TSV Hilgertshausen after a 1-1 draw on penalties - the final score was 4 to 2 in the penalty duel! TSV Indersdorf started strong with a 2-0 lead, before SV Sulzemoos made a comeback in the second half and ultimately retained the upper hand 5-2.
Further results and outlook
SpVgg Erdweg showed against SpVgg Röhrmoos-G. their strength with a 3-1 win. Korbinian Göttler was the linchpin of the game with his two goals. An own goal from Thomas Schöll finally ensured the final score. TSV Altomünster also showed its class and clearly defeated FV Birkenhof 5-1 after Fabiano Linza gave Birkenhof the lead in the 6th minute. And defending champions FC Pipinsried didn't have to prove themselves on the field either, as they started the round with a bye.
There will also be other exciting encounters in the Sparkasse Cup on the schedule in the coming period, including duels such as Inhauser Moos against Bergkirchen or SG Gerberau/Ludwigsfeld against Peterhausen.
