On Sunday afternoon, May 11th, a serious motorcycle accident occurred on Horpestraße (L299) towards Lindlar, which affected a 68-year-old driver from Solingen. Around 11:55 a.m., the motorcyclist was overtaken by an unknown driver on a black power bike during a left curve. Due to the overtaking maneuver, the Solinger and his BMW got right into the green strip and fell.

The injured motorcyclist was immediately taken to the hospital, while his heavily damaged motorcycle was secured. The property damage amounts to a five -digit amount. The police are now looking for witnesses who can provide information about the unknown motorcyclist or the incident.
