An exciting event awaits cinema-goers in Erding! On Thursday, July 17th, the popular actors Luise Kinseher and Sigi Zimmerschied will be guests at the Cineplex. They are presenting their new film “Karli & Marie”, which opens in Germany on the same day. It is an amusing comedy that has a running time of 87 minutes and is suitable for viewers aged 12 and over. Kinseher and Zimmerschied embody two characters who couldn't be more different and who discover a kinship on their journey to Tyrol.
After the 7:00 p.m. performance, visitors can look forward to an exciting film discussion. The two main actors as well as director Christian Lerch, screenwriter Uli Limmer and producer Ralf Zimmermann will answer questions. Ralf Zimmermann contributed to the cult film “Weißbier im Blut”.
A look at the plot
“Karli & Marie” tells the story of Karli, who poses as a trained lone fighter and bomb defuser, and Marie, the former beauty queen of Mingkofen. After a difficult divorce battle, Marie is left with her old Opel and a run-down villa. Their journey together, which includes explosions, shoplifting and attempted blackmail, will show how shy approaches often underlie the best stories.
