Free advice for founders: Register for the information day now!
What's going on in the world of start-ups? In the Erlangen-Höchstadt district, aspiring entrepreneurs and small companies have the opportunity to receive free advice. The next information day of AktivSenioren Bayern e.V. will take place on Monday, July 7, 2025, from 11:45 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. Those interested can participate in person at the Erlangen District Office or online via telephone or video conference. Registrations are possible by Thursday, July 3, 2025 at the latest by calling Thomas Wächtler at 09131/803-1270. As reported Wiesentbote, this advice is aimed at start-ups as well as small and medium-sized companies and examines all phases of starting a business.
For many who take the step into self-employment, support in the form of general questions about business management and especially when creating business plans can be crucial. The generous volunteers of the AktivSenioren contribute their professional and life experience and provide advice. However, you should be aware that no legal or tax advice is offered and the advice is completely free.
Independence – A joint project
As the AktivSenioren make clear, starting your own company is often associated with time pressure and deadlines - for example when it comes to the start-up grant. “Working quickly is required to test your suitability for self-employment,” say the experts ActiveSeniors. A solid business plan and a stable financial plan could take between two to six weeks, depending on the initial situation. Anyone who needs additional advice might want to consider an example: Goran P., a television technician, is planning his own repair service in Munich.
Goran was on his own in the initial phase and initially tried to create his own business plan, which was rejected by Deutsche Bank due to serious deficiencies. His solution? He turned to a start-up advisor who guided him step by step through the (re)foundation process. The support not only included a revision of the business plan, but also complete financial planning and coaching preparation for the bank interview. This form of advice is indispensable and can mean the breakthrough to their own business for many start-ups.
Success through collaboration
Goran’s example shows how valuable expert support is. With the help of BAFA funding, he was able to cover almost all of his consulting fees. In the joint meeting with Raiffeisenbank Munich, he was finally able to convince the bank of his concept and received the necessary financing. With such supportive offers, it quickly becomes clear: the road to self-employment is often rocky alone, but with the right network, starting a business is much more fun!
Doing a good business and successfully starting your own business can be learned if you have the right information and contacts. If you want to nurture the dream of owning your own company, you should definitely not miss these helpful advisory services from AktivSenioren.
