In the last few days there have been several incidents in and around Heroldsberg that are keeping the police on their toes. On October 30, 2025, three unknown people went from a black SUV to Spindäckerstrasse and Simmelberger Weg to inspect a parked car. A few days later, on November 1, 2025, another unauthorized absence from the scene of the accident in Marloffstein occurred. A car was hit between 5:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. on Atzelsberger Strasse, house number 14. The person who caused the accident ran away, which not only resulted in property damage, but could also have legal consequences. Legal consequences of hit-and-run
Anyone who simply runs away after a traffic accident is guilty of fleeing. Pedestrians and cyclists are also not exempt from this regulation.
