SG Riedlhütte conquers the title and meets TSV Waldkirchen in relegation!

In Tiefenbach, last week at an exciting football game, the A-Juniors of SG Riedlhütte won against the hosts with a convincing 3-1. With this, the team under coach Sepp Weinberger crowned its season and secured the championship title in the Bavarian Forest A-district league. This success is no coincidence, as SG Riedlhütte has consistently demonstrated its qualities on the pitch throughout the season.

The game was exciting, with Nico Ketzer taking the lead early in the 18th minute. The hosts were able to equalize through Fabian Hartl in the 67th minute, but Simon Weinberger showed his class and scored two goals within a few minutes (78th and 90th minute), which secured the victory for Riedlhütte. After the final whistle, cheers erupted from both players and fans, while captain Samuel Eichinger praised his team's successes.

Relegation and the next challenges

With the championship title, the A-juniors of SG Riedlhütte have now also qualified for relegation to the regional league. In the first round they will face TSV Waldkirchen, the champions of the Passau district league. The draw for the relegation games took place during the spring conference and the real excitement can be expected at the end of June, when the games take place on a neutral pitch. The location and time will be announced after the decisive season finale on June 21st.

At the same time, the fans of TSV Regen are also hoping for promotion. On Saturday, the club's A-juniors will face FC Alkofen in the Bayerwaldstadion - another exciting relegation game for the coveted participation in the district league. Kick-off is at 4 p.m. TSV Regen played its way into relegation with a narrow 2-1 win against SG Rain, while FC Alkofen won on penalties against Waldkirchen.

The focus is on opportunities for advancement

Coach Karl Altmann and youth leader Markus Galek are optimistic and have prepared well while hoping for a large crowd, similar to the last duel against Rain, where over 170 fans came. TSV Regen aims to repeat its success and promote the next step in the development of its players. Most of TSV's A-Juniors will be allowed to play in the coming season, with a few exceptions who will make the jump to the men's division.

The exciting football season in the Bavarian Forest shows that the fight for the upper leagues is characterized by passion and team spirit. Fans and players are looking forward to the upcoming games and the opportunity to hunt for points in the district league. For further information about the A-Junior competitions, please read here.
