SpVgg Greuther Fürth started their summer preparations with an impressive win on June 28, 2025. In the first test match of the season, coach Thomas Kleine's team gave 1. FC Herzogenaurach, a representative of the district league, no chance and won 13:1 (halftime 8:1). The most successful goalscorer was new signing Omar Sillah, who hit the net three times in the first half hour. A successful start for the Fürth team, who will prove themselves in the next test match against SpVgg Ansbach 09 on July 5th, as Borkener Zeitung reports.
In preparation for the 2025/26 season, there are numerous test games on the Bundesliga and 2nd Bundesliga teams' programs. The current games offer important opportunities for coaches to test their teams and make tactical changes in order to start the new season optimally.
