Serious truck accident in Seefeld: driver and passenger injured!
On Thursday night there was a serious traffic accident on the B177, Seefelder Straße, which resulted in three injuries. The incident occurred at 1:25 a.m. when a 41-year-old Italian truck driver was traveling from Seefeld towards Zirl and lost control of his vehicle for unknown reasons. The truck hit a guardrail and a wall on a curve at kilometer 3.6, not far from a restaurant, like the Tyrolean side TT reported.
The driver and two passengers, aged 21 and 30, both also Italians, were trapped in the accident. The Zirl volunteer fire department went to the scene of the accident with five vehicles and 23 emergency services to free the people. The injured received rapid medical help from emergency doctors and rescue workers. The driver and his 21-year-old passenger were taken to the trauma room at the Innsbruck Clinic, while the 30-year-old was transported to the Garmisch-Partenkirchen Clinic.
