Ebern Music Night 2025: Rock, Pop and Blues under the stars!
The anticipation for a musical highlight in Ebern is increasing! On October 11, 2025, Ebern's old town will once again become a stage for numerous music lovers. The popular music night, organized by the cultural department of the Sport- und Kulturverein Ebern e.V., promises a varied program with numerous bands that will perform rock, pop and blues music. The start is scheduled for 8 p.m. and a lot of work is already being done to coordinate with the bands to create an entertaining experience for all visitors. Mainpost reports, that there will be a total of six permanent venues, including Veracruz, Gipsy, Pizza Blitz, Cafe Wagner, the Old Town Hall and the basement of the brass band rehearsal home in Braugasse.
Advance sales for tickets start in September in the participating restaurants, the tourist office and the reading island. The final program will also be announced in August via flyers and posters. Another highlight before the Music Days is that Ebern has established itself as a center for various styles of music, which is not least supported by the Ebern Music Days.
Chamber music in a dream setting
The Ebern Music Days series, which was founded by Peter Rosenberg, the first concertmaster of the Bamberg Symphony, has also been taking place since 2016. The aim of this event is to promote chamber music outside of the large music halls. The Church of St. Laurentius plays the perfect role as an event location, thanks to its excellent acoustics, which are very much appreciated by the musicians. Hassberge Tourism informs about the fact that the Music Days have attracted numerous visitors from the surrounding area in recent years.
The Music Days 2025 place a special focus on the works of Friedrich Rückert, who lived in Ebern. Three concert evenings are planned from September 19th to 21st, at which renowned soloists will perform under the direction of Rosenberg. You can hear compositions by Haydn, Mozart and Beethoven, among others, as well as a performance of “Five Songs after Poems by Friedrich Rückert” by Richard Strauss with baritone Nikolay Borchev. Tickets for the Music Days are also available at affordable prices: a concert evening costs 28 euros, while schoolchildren, students and trainees can take part for just 18 euros. Combined tickets for all three concerts are available for 75 euros (or 45 euros for reduced tickets). Tickets can be purchased directly from the Ebern Tourist Information Office, the Ebern Reading Island or the bvd card service.
