One of the highlights is the traditional dance festival in Kaufbeuren, which opens on July 17th with an ecumenical service and a play. This festival, organized by thousands of participants, transforms Kaufbeuren into a historical atmosphere in which children re-enact the city's history from the late Middle Ages to the Biedermeier period.
