Kronach, Deutschland - A significant anniversary was celebrated at the Margraf-Georg-Friedrich-Gymnasium (MGF): The supporters' association committed 75. The association was founded in 1949 to support the school's pedagogical work. A central concern of the sponsoring association is social balance, because not all families have the means to take part in all school events. Many parents, who are just above the support threshold, often fight with the costs for school trips or additional projects. Here the association jumps in and ensures that students get the same opportunities from financially weaker families. However, this is only an exception that should not replace the state framework.

The appreciation of the district administrator Klaus Peter Söllner underlined the importance of the supporter association for the MGF. He emphasized that the district's financial resources are not sufficient to cover all the needs of the school, which is why the support of the association is indispensable. Everyone involved, be it members or supporters, was warmly thanked for this.

After the formal speeches, the guests exchanged their outdoor trimmings in the festively decorated break hall. The evening was musically framed by the brass ensemble, Sologgesang AG and the "Bremium Brass" chapel, which all caused atmospheric sounds under the direction of Hubertus Baumann and thus contributed to an all-round successful festival. The celebration was not only an occasion to celebrate, but also a valuable opportunity to strengthen the school community and to honor the importance of commitment to education in our society.
