In Schliersee, an idyllic community 50 km southeast of Munich, there is reason to be happy: the fourth season of the popular series “The Country Doctor's Practice” is already taking shape. From 2026, the series will be broadcast every weekday at 7 p.m. on SAT 1 and, with 240 episodes, will have around twice as many episodes as the third season. Interestingly, Schliersee's picturesque backdrops not only serve as a film set, but have also greatly stimulated economic interest in the region.

On November 28, 2025, a very special event awaits lovers of the “country doctor’s practice”: the film team and actors will be guests at the farmer’s theater in Schliersee.
