The 37-year-old Eritrean hit his 42-year-old opponent, an Iraqi, with a stone. He in turn attacked the younger man with a kitchen knife, inflicting stab and cut injuries on him. Despite his injuries, the 37-year-old managed to escape to a nearby police station, where he asked for help. The officers immediately administered first aid and called an ambulance who took him to a hospital. Fortunately, his life was not in danger.

The 42-year-old was overpowered and arrested at the accommodation a short time later. He also had to be taken to a hospital because of his injuries. On Tuesday, the two men were brought before the judge at the Biberach district court, who issued arrest warrants on the strong suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm to one another.
