In a rousing first episode of the new season of “The Voice of Germany”, Vasco José Mano from Munich caused pure goosebumps with his performance. The 28-year-old performed the powerful song “Stone Cold” by Demi Lovato, which thrilled the audience and coaches alike. Among the talented participants were Greta Heimann (20) from Halle (Saale), who performed the emotional piece “Eiserner Steg” by Philipp Poisel, and Ereza (21) from Hamburg, who thrilled the audience with “I Got You (I Feel Good)” by James Brown.
The duo Maël & Jonas from Koblenz, who also performed songs they created themselves, also caused a stir. They performed their own composition “I Swear To God.” Another outstanding performance came from Nomi Rais (47) from Mallorca, who captivated the audience with “I Wanna Dance With Somebody” by Whitney Houston. Among the other talents were Max Pesé (20) from Landshut with “Hallelujah, I Love Her So” by Ray Charles and the duo Schmidtreissend from Ostallgäu, who shone with “(Your Love Keeps Lifting Me) Higher And Higher” by Jackie Wilson.

These included Mabella (25) from Bremerhaven, who interpreted “Prisoner” by Miley Cyrus and Dua Lipa, as well as 45-year-old Lily MacKay from near Neu-Ulm, who performed “Greatest Love Of All” by Whitney Houston. Allstar Keule (59) from the Südliche Weinstraße also delighted the crowds with “You Shook Me All Night Long” by AC/DC. The 20-year-old Friedrich Häntzschel from near Dresden enchanted with “Moodswings” by TJARK, while Shoger Panosyan (21) from Essen shone with “Popular” from the musical “Wicked”.
The diversity of talent is impressive and the coaches are full of enthusiasm. Vasco José Mano was able to win hearts in his first appearance and has thus established himself as a hot contender for the next rounds. This season promises to be exciting.
