Nuremberg gets a new burger hotspot: Super Smash Burger opens!

Something is happening again in the gastronomic sector in Nuremberg! The former “Superbude” restaurant, which closed its doors in March 2025, reopened last weekend with a new name and a fresh concept. The new burger shop “Super Smash Burger” opened its doors on July 4, 2025 at Löbleinstrasse 50 and promises its guests a slightly different taste experience.

Responsible for the revival is restaurateur Tolga Yasar, who has 19 years of experience in the industry. He and his colleague took over the takeover and renovation of the time-honored “Superbude”. The result is impressive: the interior design has been reduced to the essentials, and an open kitchen allows guests to experience the preparation of their burgers live. In the first three days, the operators served over 700 hungry customers, which shows that the new store is very popular right from the start.

The offer

The menu at Super Smash Burger is diverse and offers something for everyone. In addition to various meat options - including halal meat - there is a vegan version and a delicious mac and cheese bowl, which is served with macaroni in cheese sauce. The burgers include delicious toppings such as sucuk, caramelized onions and chicken bacon.

Guests can choose from a total of nine different Smashburgers. Particularly attractive: All burgers can also be ordered with a vegan pattie. When it comes to side dishes, the team has also come up with a lot: from two types of fries to chicken wings and chili cheese nuggets to vegan nuggets and mozzarella sticks, everything is included. Some bowls are also offered, including a vegetarian option.

Opening times and first impressions

Super Smash Burger is open Wednesday through Sunday, but is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. The store is designed to seat 31 guests indoors, with an additional 28 outdoor seats available when the weather permits. The new restaurateur relies on homemade sauces and lets the meat “rest” for a day to intensify the taste.

Reservations are currently not possible unless for birthday parties or larger groups. The initial feedback from guests is consistently positive, indicating that Tolga Yasar has hit the nerve of the times. The combination of a simple but appealing atmosphere, the open kitchen and a well-thought-out menu gives hope for good business.
