What’s new at the Nuremberg Ice Tigers? Next Saturday, fans can look forward to the only home test match before the start of the season. The team will present itself in full strength against HC Pustertal on its home ice in the PSD Bank Nürnberg ARENA on August 30, 2025.
The event starts in the morning: entry opens at 10:30 a.m., and at 11 a.m. stadium announcer Christian Rupp will lead through the stage program. Intensive preparation for the new ice hockey season
Preparation for the new season was hard and comprehensive. From July 30th, the entire team was in Nuremberg and started with a first team meeting and a joint dinner at the invitation of co-partner Andi Kurzer. Before the first ice training session, which began on August 4th, the players completed performance tests and photo shoots, followed by regular training sessions in the weight room under the direction of athletic trainer Christian Bachmann.
