Magical children's cinema in the Knight's Hall: Hotzenplotz & more from October 29th!

Today, on October 29, 2025, cinema fans young and old are looking forward to the opening of the new film “The Robber Hotzenplotz”. The film, which brings back memories of childhood for many, will be shown in the Knights' Hall of the Veste Oberhaus in Passau. Lead actor Nicholas Ofczarek brings the stories about the legendary robber to the big screen. The film starts today at 5:15 p.m., doors open at 5 p.m.

The children's cinema has also come up with a lot of ideas for the coming days. “The Little Ghost” will be shown tomorrow, October 30th, before “The Little Witch” with the talented Karoline Herfurth is presented on Friday, October 31st. Here too, the film arc begins at 5:15 p.m. and visitors can look forward to a selection of popcorn, sweets and non-alcoholic drinks on site. Tickets are available for €7, either online at www.cineplex-passau.de or at the box office from 5 p.m. By the way, little viewers are welcome to bring their own blankets to make themselves comfortable while watching the film.
