There was a serious accident on the A9 in Upper Bavaria last evening. The 28-year-old driver of a sports car lost control of her vehicle at around 9:10 p.m., which then left the road. Instead, the car crashed into parts of the guard rail, rolled over in the field and finally collided with a concrete pillar before coming to a stop. The 27-year-old passenger suffered life-threatening injuries and had to be immediately flown to hospital in a rescue helicopter. The driver sustained moderate injuries. This tragic scene occurred in the Pfaffenhofen an der Ilm district, and the police estimate the damage caused at around 115,000 euros.
