The Geis Group, headquartered in Bad Neustadt an der Saale, is making great strides in its expansion in the logistics industry. After the takeover of the Gras Group from Neuwied at the beginning of the year and the acquisition of the Krüger-Spedition in April 2025, the takeover of Agotrans Logistik GmbH is now pending. This transaction will be completed on July 1, 2025 and is intended to strengthen activities in the important Rhine-Main area and expand the role in the IDS network. Agotrans, an established family business with over 50 years of experience, is based in Rodgau near Frankfurt and employs around 120 people. The company offers various logistics services, including national and European general cargo transport as well as automotive services. With 13 of 54 depot areas, Geis becomes one of the largest partners in the general cargo cooperation IDS.
