Cultural expedition in Rosenheim: Discover, participate, win!
During the autumn holidays, the cultural office of the city of Rosenheim organized an exciting cultural expedition that took place from Tuesday, November 4th to Friday, November 8th, 2025. The expedition took visitors through six important cultural institutions that can be discovered in the city. These included the municipal gallery, the municipal museum, the municipal archive, the wood technology museum, the adult education center and the municipal library. Here the city was transformed into a creative paradise that had a lot to offer for both adults and children.
Exciting discoveries and hands-on activities awaited participants at every station. During the expedition, families were able to immerse themselves in a world of cultural diversity and at the same time take advantage of the chance to win prizes. A very special highlight was the “Café Internationale” in the adult education center, where the participants were able to learn new languages and experience different cultures up close.
This colorful gathering had something for everyone: from games that stimulated creativity to interesting information about different traditions. The atmosphere was lively, and many visitors quickly realized that there was more than just games on the program.
Cultural experiences for the whole family
The event was aimed primarily at families and offered a range of free activities from 12pm to 5pm. In this context, the city library launched a special campaign: the library rally “DISCOVER PAGES OF COLORFUL WORLDS”. Here the young explorers were able to solve puzzles, learn exciting facts about books and authors and explore unknown places within the library. At the end of the rally there was a little surprise for all participants, which made the adventure unforgettable.
The flyer with information about the cultural expedition was available from October in the city's cultural institutions, the tourist information center and the town hall and informed those interested about the varied program. With an offering that was both educational and entertaining, the cultural expedition was able to make a valuable contribution to strengthening culture and community in Rosenheim.
In conclusion, such events show a good knack for promoting creativity and coexistence in the city. Cultural activities like these are not only a wonderful opportunity to discover new things, but also strengthen solidarity and allow visitors to experience the city's rich diversity.
